Weston’s own Greta Thunberg aims to drive through eco-change at Worle and the world en route to become Prime Minister one day

High-flying Head Girl Daisy Dennett is already making waves in bringing even more green living to her brilliant school, Worle Community School Academy.

The environmental enthusiast and singer-songwriter is aiming to be Prime Minister one day where she can help millions of people – just like eco activist Greta Thunberg is doing across the world. When not studying for her GCSE studies, Daisy is helping the school to become even more eco-friendly and reduce the amount of plastic and paper used during the school day.

After WCSA took the pledge of the Green Schools Alliance, Daisy is working with staff to step up the learning and education of students’ carbon footprint.

Daisy said: “Politicians and Prime Ministers can make such a difference and I am excited to use my energy and career to help the planet and also lots of people.”

Principal Jacqui Scott said: “Daisy is an inspiration and we love her aspirations and ambitions to help the planet and millions of people. She has already made a big impact along with her student leadership team and School Council.”
