Zoomy Zach zooms for victory to raise charity cash (by Jill Dando News reporter)

Zachary, aged 9 from St. Anne’s Church Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, has been helping a fabulous charity and produced a fantastic running performance.

Zach ran the Christmas Cracker race which was held under the pier in Weston-Super-Mare. It is a 2km run which only happens once a year.

Zach finished the course in a time of 12:54 and raised almost £40 for Weston Hospice Care.
After the race, everyone got a medal and a mars bar – YUM!

We are very proud of Zachary for his achievement.
