Hundreds turn out for first ever free community extravaganza

By Jill Dando News

Hundreds of people of all ages enjoyed a free breakfast with a host of fun activities and events at Priory Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.

There were games of laser tag, skateboarding, craft stalls, food and gift stalls, craft activities and more.

Remembrance commemorations

There was also a moving Remembrance Service with invited dignitaries as part of the event.

The academy used the event to continue to build its Garden of Remembrance with a space for the community to honour their loved ones who have died during conflicts.

PCSA is a school at the very heart of the North Worle community.

Principal Angelos Markoutsas said: “This was a remarkable event and it was thrilling to see so many people turn out. The weather was also superb.

“We also wanted to continue to build our Garden of Remembrance and create a space for the community to honor loved ones who have lost their lives in conflict.”
