Children aged 2 to 4 have been having fantastic fun as they show off their creative learning skills

The children at have been doing what is called ‘Loose Part Play’, which is proving very popular.

Their amazing Little Learners nursery facility based at St Anne’s Church Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset is allowing them to be incredibly creative.

In their latest popular activity, using ‘Symbolic representation’ has been explored, where a child uses one thing to represent another.

In the photos, the children are creating faces using the objects available.

Natalie Blower said: “The children have been really enjoying being creative, and the whole activity is proving very popular.”

Little Learners offer flexible sessions between 7.30am and 6.00pm for 50 weeks of the year.

St Anne’s has recently been awarded a clean sweep of Good ratings by Ofsted.

Little Learners and St Anne’s are all part of The Priory Learning Trust.
