Thank you Prime Minister. Billions boost for schools – a fantastic start

The Good News Post exists to campaign for children and schools.

So we are absolutely delighted at the Prime Minister’s £14 billion for schools announcement.

The Good News Post was delighted to be the first student newspaper outlet to be invited to hear Boris at Number 10 Downing Street, alongside First News, BBC and Sky TV. The Prime Minister was brilliant with the children – and equally they warmed to him.

In fact, they were buzzing.

So will some schools at the news of more cash.

At last the voice of children, parents, carers teachers and headteachers is being heard.

This billions boost will go a long way to helping cash-strapped schools.

And Boris delivered it in a style loved by the children.

Now is the time for Brexit to be cleared so we can get onto helping the millions of children who are the future of this nation.

We need more money and a new plan for mental health, and urgently, but this is a fantastic start.
