Pupils have produced sensational unique front cover recreations of iconic books that they love reading.

Scenes from books such as 101 Dalmatians, Charlotte’s Webb, and Amelia Fang and the Barbaric Ball have been made real by pupils at St Anne’s Church Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.

The pupils had great fun and showed huge talent in the competition launched for World Book Day.

The school’s commitment to reading is constantly leading to incredibly high outcomes.

Principal Emma Hardy Smith said: “These front cover recreations have been absolutely incredible – the pupils have excelled themselves with superb creativity, initiative and talent. Every single entry deserved an award.”

St Anne’s Church Academy is a high achieving and happy caring school, and is the first school in North Somerset to receive the highly prized Social School Award.

It is part of The Priory Learning Trust.
