Top world firm in Worle with huge vision to expand again

By Jill Dando News

A Weston-super-Mare company is hosting an exclusive event to attract and recruit new talent within the local area and surrounding towns.

On Friday 27 and Saturday 28 May, the Ascot Group is opening the doors to its business campus and welcoming a host of visitors to showcase the full range of roles currently available within the organisation.

From marketing and media, software and digital technology to creative, operations and sales, there is a wide variety of positions currently available.

With an incredible workplace culture and outstanding office space, the firm hopes to attract local people with features like an on-site gym and social space including an arcade machine, TV with streaming services, a high-tech music system and well-stocked bar.

Going beyond the four-walls of the office space, the organisation has recently appointed a social squad who will champion organising specialist activities for the whole team to support the importance of a good work life balance.

Weston-super-Mare and Worle are booming areas with huge numbers of houses being built and superb education available including at The Priory Learning Trust schools.

Andrew Scott, the Group’s Chief Executive, said: “Since the pandemic, individuals are looking for so much more from their employer and at the Ascot Group, we’re passionate about building a real community within the workplace.

“I’m incredibly proud of the fantastic business campus we’ve created in Weston. Not only have we invested heavily in designing a state-of-the-art office space, but we’ve also worked hard to build a great workplace culture.

“We are dedicated to make sure our whole team look forward to coming to work each day, so we provide opportunities where they can spend plenty of time together collaborating both inside and outside of the working day.

“The South West region is brimming with talented people but many find themselves either working from home, commuting to Bristol, or even further afield but this doesn’t need to be the case. People just need to be given the right opportunity and we have plenty of great prospects at our local business hub.”

Founded by Andrew Scott in 2004, the Ascot Group is a fast-track, high growth company that continuously innovates and defies traditional business thinking.

It currently employs 90 people across three sites located next to Worle train station, on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare, and has plans to grow this number even further to reach 200 employees in the marketing, media, tech and creative sectors.
