Pupils enjoy outside learning in Explorer’s Club

Pupils at Pawlett Primary School Academy in Somerset are used to excellent outside learning in their beautiful grounds.

Now they have been enjoying a variety of activities in their Explorer’s Club.

They enjoyed ‘Invisibility potions’, the stick phone and even a Pawlett Monkey World.

Earlier this year pupils and staff unveiled their stunning new Learning Lodge with hexagonal features and sensory plants – opening up even more opportunities for outside learning.

Their new Learning Lodge will support all subjects including maths, English, religious education, computing, Science and more.

The school, which has a history in the village over 150 years ago, is situated in incredibly stunning grounds with sports pitches, a forest school, adventure playground, and next door to a state-of-the-art community club with a 3G football pitch.

It is part of The Priory Learning Trust and has its own Jill Dando News Centre for pupils.
