Dozens of New Year after-school clubs have been launched at a fantastic primary school.
A host of amazing after-school clubs are being held at the fantastic St Anne’s Church Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.
After a difficult two years for Britain’s children due to COVID-19 and lockdowns, the school is thriving and there are heaps of enthusiastic smiles and activities going on.
Pupils can enjoy a variety of exciting clubs including cheerleading, dance, performing arts, handball, gym fitness, embroidery, tennis, textiles, football NS other sports.
They also have wonderful clubs in the environment including a gardening club, and a well-being and Community after school club.
Pupils also enjoy breakfast, cookery and after-school cuisine clubs.
And they also have a groundbreaking journalism club Jill Dando News, named after the legendary BBC journalist who grew up in the same town.
The children even thrive with some early morning physical exercise to start the school day.
Principal Emma Hardy Smith said: “We are absolutely passionate about providing as wider range of fun and educational activities to inspire every single pupil.
“There is so much enthusiasm for all the clubs and it is wonderful to see so many smiles throughout the school day, and even before and after.”
St Anne’s Church Academy is a high achieving and happy caring school.
It is the first school in North Somerset to receive the highly prized Social Media School Award.
