Kind Alexis, 11, wins student award after stunning start to secondary school

Kind Alexis, 11, of Worle Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset has been praised for always smiling, being hardworking and polite.

She has amassed an incredible number of 1400 Achievement Points so far and no negative points.

Alexis has also given a wellbeing boost to a new friend by helping her with her anxieties about starting secondary school.

Head of Year 7 Kerry Egan, pictured, said: “Alexis has shone from day one, winning huge numbers of Achievement Points. She has shown exceptional character, helps others and works extremely hard.”

The WCSA motto is ‘We Challenge and Support to Achieve’, resulting in students who thrive in all areas.
