Cub reporters see new Alan Sugar style Boardroom and get top tips from business leaders

Jill Dando good news reporters have seen a TV’s Apprentice style Boardroom in a state-of-the-art HQ while getting top tips from cutting-edge business leaders.

The reporters aged 11 to 14 at Priory Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare Somerset were invited to the Ascot Group expansion launch event.

They got to meet top business leaders and to see the amazing Ascot Group HQ headquarters and their latest premises.

Ascot Group based at incredible offices near Worle Train Station in Worle, have grown from 0 to 90 staff in 15 years with plans for 200 jobs to come next year. It ambitiously wants to become on of Britain’s best firms out of Weston-super-Mare and Worle in Somerset.

Pictured are Business Leader magazine Director Oli Ballard and Sam Clark who passed on tips to the reporters. The students also got to interview CEO Andrew Scott. 

Oli said: “Jill Dando News is a great initiative that is giving young kids practical experience of media and journalism and inspiring them to be curious. They were all impressive and we’ll be out of a job soon!”

Previously the 100-plus reporters aged between 8 and 18 have interviewed Fiona Bruce, a NASA astronaut and the Prime Minister twice, amongst dozens of others.
