Lucky Lewis leads out top championship football team for his 11th birthday

Amazing Lewis got the chance to be mascot for a top football team to celebrate his birthday.

Lewis, a pupil at St Anne’s Church Academy, got to lead Bristol City Football Club out into Ashton Gate as his 11th birthday present.

Lewis walked out with Bristol City captain Daniel Bentley.

He was spotted on the big screen by his friends and his teacher who was also at the game

After the game, which ended in a 1-1 draw, lucky Lewis got to meet the Bristol City team and was given a flag to keep.

Lewis said, ”I felt nervous and excited!” 

He also said that he felt like a footballer when he entered the stadium that night.
