It’s good news as the venue where Banksy made Dismaland world famous is to have a huge renovation for 2024.

Banksy turned the Tropicana into a world famous location in Weston Super Mare, North Somerset, UK in 2015.

Now it is to have a huge makeover!

It is based on the Bristol Channel coast on the southern section of the seafront.

The fair changes its events over seasons. In the summer, there is a huge theme park called Funland, it features roller coasters, rides, food, music and of course fun!

In the winter, there is an ice skating rink! This is a big hit for the local people who are interested in ice skating or just want a change and want some fun!

From July to late November, the fantastic See Monster opened! You could experience a nature full excursion and an interesting slide flying through the wind! The owners of the See Monster even gave the Climate Justice Revolution a bunch of plants which were planted on the school grounds at WCSA, one of them being outside the Jill Dando News Center! 

Recently, the owners of the Tropicana have planned a huge refurbishment and will level up the experience for 2024!

It will be £5-7 million and will increase the suitability and make a bigger “flexible range of activities.” Works will also include repairs of roofing, heating, lighting, ventilation, walls, floors, drainage and the toilets!
