Former student now one of world’s biggest Apple Wi-Fi experts

Dan Jones is also a speaker at some of the globe’s biggest Wi-Fi events and helps organisations to get the best quality Wi-Fi in the world.

The highflying Wi-Fi IT genius left Worle Community School Academy in Worl, Weston-super-Mare 2002, and has worked at London’s premium Apple Store.

After becoming an expert in all things Apple and Wi-Fi, he now mixes the two to help businesses and organisations get the very best Wi-Fi the world has to offer.

Now he is heading to Caesars Palace, Las Vegas in October as an invited speaker on designing Wi-Fi for Apple devices, following up from speaking to Audiences in Phoenix, Arizona (US) earlier this year for the Wireless LAN Professionals Conference (WLPC).

Father of two, Dan said “WCSA set me up to explore the world and go for my dreams. I believe that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.”

Jill Dando who was one of Britain’s best ever journalists was also a former student of the school. Now students at the school have set up a Jill Dando News Centre and Jill Dando TV in her memory to cover real life stories.
