Fantastic floats dazzled crowds at Carnival (by Zoe, Grace and Bella)

Burnham-on-Sea’s carnival in Somerset, UK took place this week and, as always, attracted a huge crowd.

The roads were filled with a sea of bright lights and colours; there were several impressive floats at the fun-filled evening with a variety of themes, all of which were fantastic!

TKASA students Scarlett, The Highbridge and Burnham Carnival Queen, and her princesses Pixie and Lola were near the front of the parade in a classic car.

The fantastic ‘Trawlermen’ won the title of ‘best entry in the entire procession’. The float dazzled onlookers with an array of bright colours and lights and brilliant dancing from the performers.

Despite the rain, all of the performers were amazing and showed great efforts. A lot of hard work goes into the production of the carnival, from the performers on the floats to everyone behind the scenes – this was very much appreciated by the crowds.
