Dozens of families have been viewing one of the fastest improving schools in the south west.

Worle Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare hosted its first ever ‘Into the Light’ events for families to tour their fantastic facilities.

The new auditorium at WCSA.

Prospective pupils, parents and carers can have guided tours over three evenings.

The tours will give an open air insight into school life and a chance to view WCSA’s excellent campus facilities, including the £400,000 auditorium and sports hall improvements.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, the usual “open evening” annual events are not possible which has prompted the special events.

Principal Jacqui Scott said: “These are very exciting days for our academy and we look forward to sharing this with our community. We are thrilled with the latest improvements to our campus and would welcome people to see this at our Into the Light events.”

The academy has a high-achieving and caring ethos, aiming to challenge and support to encourage the full potential of every single student.

Anyone missing out can book individual appointments throughout the month of October.

Other evenings available are:

Monday 12th October from 3.30 – 5.30pm

Thursday 15th October from 5 – 7pm.
