Dancers placed top in National Championship

On the 14th and 15th of May 2022, the BellaTrix Dance Company team Queen Bs and BellaTrix had huge success in the National HipHop championships in Telford.

BellaTrix Dance Company trains students from five to 29 in HipHop dance styles; they have both recreational and competition teams. 

The company is based in Weston-Super-Mare and was founded by Bella Febry who formed the hip hop dance academy in 2017. 

The dancers, all students from Priory Community School Academy, included: Emma (Year 10), Abi (Year 11) Kiera (Year 11)Evie (Year 10) Brooke  (Year 10) Rosanna (Year 10) Sunnie (Year 9) Grace (Year 9) Shauna (Year 7)

BellaTrix were placed 2nd in the country of their category, Junior HipHop, and Queen Bs were placed 3rd in the country for their first performance in the Senior HipHop category.

For their world’s performance, they were placed 2nd and collected an invitation to compete in Florida next year on the world stage!  

Ali Drury, a mother involved in the competition, said “we are all very excited for them all…we are all incredibly proud of their efforts!”
