Charlie’s Trophy Win!

Charlie, 10, from St Anne’s Church Academy in West Wick is celebrating at winning a brilliant award.

Charlie has been working hard in rugby and has shown perseverance to reach his biggest achievement yet! 

Last Sunday, Charlie was awarded the U10’s player of the year trophy for always supporting his team to improve in many ways such as passing skills and by captaining his team.

Jill Dando News trains up children aged 8 to 18 to do journalism the Jill Dando Way in schools in England and Africa. Its theme is Good News Worldwide.

Erica, from our news team spoke to Charlie about his triumph and he said, ‘I think that everybody should be given a chance because we can all achieve many things.’
