Charity helps struggling people by turning phone box into community hub

A charity in UK has thought up a unique way of connecting with people to help them – by transforming a classic old red British phone box into a community hub.

The charity, Kath’s Place, has been helping out local people for years in south-east London. 

It bought the phone box for just £1 from BT after it had been left in disrepair. 

The rising cost of living means more people need access to help and the charity is also facing its own challenges.
