Big hearted pupils help Foodbank with Christmas event

Pupils at St Anne’s Church Academy https://stanneschurchacademy.co.uk in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset are donating large amounts of food and other goods to Foodbank as part of their reverse advent.

Pupils at St Anne’s Church Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset are big givers to charity throughout the year – and this Christmas is no different.

The amount of goods is building up day in day out for Weston-super-Mare Foodbank and there is still time to donate.

Principal Emma Hardy Smith said: “Thank you to everyone who has donated to our reverse advent calendar! We have lots of donations at both sites for the Foodbank.”

St Anne’s Church Academy is a high achieving and happy caring school.

It has an array of after school clubs including the Gardening Club and a Well-being and Community club that cares for the environment. 

It is the first school in North Somerset to receive the highly prized Social Media School Award.
