Year 6 children are taking leadership of worship in their school.

St. Anne’s Church Academy at Hewish in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset step into their teachers position y leading a worship presentation.

Previously known as Parliament, the children leaders have taken more of a religious angle and focused it more on our Christian school values.

During twenty minutes, a couple of children from every year carefully listen to what the leaders talk about and try to answer every question they throw at them. For example, a couple of weeks ago the children had to come up with related actions towards what perseverance means to them.

The leaders base it on the visitors and headteacher’s worships that teach us about how God wants us to be and by listening to parables.

Jill Dando News reporters said: “We all think the leaders try hard and do a terrific job at this worship.
