Children aged 2 to 4 are over the moon with their exciting new range of facilities – among some of the best around.
The amazing Little Learners nursery facility at St Anne’s Church Academy gives access to inside and outside learning, including cosmic yoga, gym equipment, cooking facilities, mud kitchens and much more.
There are three classrooms, each with direct access to an incredible garden. They also have an outside classroom, climbing frame and mud kitchen accessible by the children.
Furthermore, there is also the Learning Street as an extension of the classroom which all the children can access to extend their learning and development further and opportunity for the children to learn life skills such as cooking and baking in the kitchen area.
In a range of awesome other spaces, they use the hall for cosmic yoga, music and movement and various other things such as the use of the school’s gym equipment to create obstacle courses to promote physical development and encourage the use of gross motor skills. The ‘turning circle’ is also available where the children can practice their road safety.
Alongside an outside school field and play area, the children can also access the trim trail where the children can improve their gross motor skills.
Natalie Blower said: “We are extremely lucky to have such outstanding facilities for the children. They really love playing and learning, and have a fun packed day!
“Being part of a school, we are also lucky that we are able to use their facilities during the children’s sessions.”
Little Learners offer flexible sessions between 7.30am and 6.00pm for 50 weeks of the year.
St Anne’s was awarded a clean sweep of Good ratings by Ofsted. Little Learners and St Anne’s are all part of The Priory Learning Trust.
