Good news as businesses help quest to save hundreds of lives

Businesses have been donating to help an amazing project save hundreds of lives.
Donate For Defib Weston-super-Mare are on a mission to install lots of defibrillators.
They have just partnered with Worle Glass & Joinery Ltd in Worle, Somerset, who installed a Defibrillator back in November 2023.
Worle Glass and Joinery Ltd had the idea to ask other local companies on their industrial estate if they would like to make a contribution so we could purchase a defibrillator and have it installed outside our premises.
A spokesperson said: “I wanted to do this for the local community in the hope that this would save someone’s life.”
A total of £1530.00 was raised, and the companies that contributed are:
- SteelFrog
- Mactra
- Morrland Carpets
- Petmania
- Worle Autos
- Panelshop 2000
Donate For Defib WsM Project was delighted to go along to raise awareness of the defibrillator they had installed and their hard work.
The Defibrillator is registered on The Circuit and accessible to the public 24/7.
