Happy students start at ‘the big school’
It was an exciting week at The King Alfred School Academy in Highbridge, Somerset as students arrived for their first taste of ‘the big school’.
They enjoyed a raft of fun learning activities and enjoyed meeting new friends.
The students met their tutors, staff and were able to enjoy the tremendous departments and facilities available.
TKASA is a welcoming, happy academy and recently was awarded a Good Ofsted rating across every area. It also has a high-achieving and expanding Sixth Form.
Since becoming part of The Priory Learning Trust in 2018, the academy has seen huge improvements across the site.
Principal Dan Milford said: “We enjoyed seeing so many happy students starting their first days at our academy. There is a real buzz around the academy with a happy atmosphere.”
