Worle School Student Emily Completed Her 100th Junior Parkrun at Clevedon on 9th March 2025.

Emily is the first junior at the Clevedon weekly event to reach the milestone of completing all of her 100 runs on the Clevedon seafront.
Emily wished to thank all the volunteer CJPR Marshals who support the Clevedon Junior Parkrun come rain or shine every week and the wonderful encouragement and support they give to all the children who take part.
Emily said: “I enjoy the runs - not as a fast runner - but for the joy and fun of taking part in the fresh air and the fitness benefits that the events brings to all who have registered to take part at whatever space the individual feels comfortable with.”
Joining Emily in the celebration were Caleb, Rowan, and Ollie, who each reached their half-marathon milestone—the equivalent of 11 junior parkruns.
The event also saw 17 runners achieve personal bests (PBs), a testament to the energy and enthusiasm on display.
Event organisers expressed their gratitude to the 19 volunteers who made the morning possible.
Headteacher Mark Tidman said: “This is a marvellous achievement by Emily. Park Runs are brilliant community events and we encourage our students to join events such as this.”
Emily’s impressive milestone highlights the commitment and spirit that defines the Clevedon Seafront junior parkrun community—a place where every runner, whether completing their first event or their 100th, is celebrated.
