Weston-super-Mare MP praises local charity’s life-saving mission

Weston-super-Mare‘s new MP Dan Aldridge has endorsed the local charity Donate for Defrib, praising their efforts to improve community health across the town.

In a recent meeting, the Somerset MP discussed the charity's latest innovations and future developments.

Donate for Defrib has made significant impact by fundraising for and installing life-saving defibrillator equipment throughout the community.

MP Dan said: "Donate For Defrib WsM Project are amazing - in such a short time, they've fundraised for, and secured life-saving equipment, got it into communities, and importantly, are making sure people across Weston are trained to use them and save lives."

He added, "Weston is a truly special town with a culture of volunteering and service that we are all so proud of. Donate For Defrib WsM embody that culture."

The charity's efforts include not only installing defibrillators but also providing crucial training for community members.

Looking ahead, MP Dan expressed support for the charity's plans: "We're all behind their ambitious plans to make sure every community has access to life-saving defibrillators, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Josh and the team do next!"

The MP has invited the charity's representatives to visit Parliament in the coming weeks, providing an opportunity to showcase their achievements and discuss potential support for future initiatives.
