The pupils of St Anne’s Church Academy, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset won first place in the Your School Games North Somerset Netball Championship.
They will now go forward to the regional finals next month.
The School Games inspires young people to be physically active for life through positive experiences of daily activity and competition.
Charlotte Bradley of St Anne’s said: “We are so so proud of these incredible. Young ladies. Congratulations girls!.”
St Anne’s Church Academy is a high achieving and happy caring school.
It is the first school in North Somerset to receive the highly prized Social Media School Award.
It is part of The Priory Learning Trust and has a Jill Dando News Centre to cover positive stories from the school, community and the world.
It was founded in honour of former Weston resident Jill Dando who rose to become one of Britain’s best journalists.
She was also kind, humble and the smiling face of journalism.
