Joseph is gearing up for the Bristol City Cerebral Palsy Football Festival in Oslo which is an annual celebration for the club, founded by Bob Young.

BCCPFC (Bristol City Cerebral Palsy Football Club) and RWK Goodman hosted England’s largest Cerebral Palsy international football festival in Bristol and brought many clubs from Europe together to build life-long friendships.

Joseph was introduced to football by his dad, soon after he had a love for football; he supports Liverpool!

He is unable to take part in professional football because of his Cerebral Palsy which is a life-long condition which affects movement and coordination and usually occurs before, during or soon after birth.

However, this hasn’t stopped him and has determination and resilience.

Joseph was inspired by his dad to join football, and faced many challenges on the way.

When he was 3, he had an eight-hour-long surgery for a blocked aorta. However, this did not stop him and he continued to power on keeping this in mind:

"You can do anything, don’t let your disabilities stop you”.

This is a very inspirational quote for anyone who is lacking confidence and it’s important to remember this message.
