January is seen as a Blue Monday month by many but here are 10 brilliant resolutions to change the story and feel better.
1) Eat healthy
After all the indulgence of Christmas, turn your plate colourful with healthy food choices!
2) Try ½ hour of exercise each day
Even if you just get out for a walk, get moving and enjoy some movement to feel the release!
3) Be nice to everyone you meet.
You get back what you give out in the world so be respectful and kind to everyone you meet and greet!
4) Remember to be more positive
It’s easy these days to be negative with all the endless bad news on social media and elsewhere.
5) Stay strong
You can learn lots, even if things are tricky. Try to lift yourself up and remain resilient!
6) Reach out to and old friend
In today’s modern world, sometimes we forget to actually connect with real conversation. Pick up the phone and phone a friend! You might make each other’s day.
7) Learn a new activity or skill
We never stop growing and learning so why not feel the reward of taking up a new skill?
8) Bee kind and plant some flowers
Even a small patch of yard or land can be transformed into a wild flower haven for bees and insects. Pick up a mixed wild flower seed pack and sow the love!
9) Sing and dance more!
Research shows that singing and dancing can release and reduce stress, so why not join that choir this year or get dancing like no-one is watching!
10) Look at animals.
Animals such as the King Charles dog in this photo are just fun to look at. If you have a pet - enjoy it!
