Terrific Tilly, 11, featured by Jill Dando’s first newspaper -

Tilly, 11, of Worle Community School Academy (WCSA), has been featured in the Weston Mercury newspaper this week.

The brilliant student has been helping victims of Tsunami’s and was given the Principal’s award.

The Mercury was Jill Dando’s first ever newspaper that she worked on after leaving WCSA. She then became Britain’s most famous TV journalist and was a kind and humble reporter even when famous.

Jill Dando News, in Jill’s memory, covers regular positive stories of inspirational people such as Tilly. It aims to produce positive journalists of the future who make the world a better place.
