He has only been at his school for a few days, but already super Sam has made his mark with brilliant community kindness.

The brilliant Year 7 student has helped his school, to raise over £1000 in cash and 179kg in food. He also helped to organise and run a ‘Pre-loved’ uniform sale over this summer holidays.

Staff at Priory Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset are really proud of his achievements and for all the items and money received.

Sam is pictured presenting the charity amount to the FoodBank HQ in Weston-super-Mare.

Head of Year Lee Dodson said: “We are all super proud of Sam. He is clearly already settling in at Priory and has shown remarkable kindness, generosity and community spirit.”

Priory is part of The Priory Learning Trust which has chosen to support local needs by naming Foodbank as their charity of the year for 2022-2023.
