The successful makeup and skincare professional, Coco Danczuk, achieved her childhood dream and is now running a company of her own in Rwanda.

We asked Coco a range of questions, while she was in Rwanda in an exclusive interview.

She was only 12 years old when she discovered her love for makeup.

Coco practised all her skills on herself, and learnt from her Auntie.

In her words, “If you don’t feel comfortable doing it on yourself, then you won’t feel comfortable doing it on others”.

Coco shared inspirational words on what it takes to be successful: ‘You can do it if you enjoy- there’s no limit of age'.

She explained to our Jill Dando Journalists that, ‘if passionate, it will come easier’ and regarding her make-up and skincare business, she claimed 'it's all about self-love’.

Those quotes show that anything you put you mind to is possible and to never give up on your dreams.

Jill Dando Journalists aged 8 to 18 find and write stories for the Good News Post newspaper and wider Media in their school Jill Dando News Centre.

Reporters are trained by professional journalists such as Jill’s older brother Nigel, Fiona Bruce and others to be reporters in the style of Jill - kind, positive, humble, and with a mindset of ‘all things are possible’.

Since then thousands of students have been told the inspirational story of Jill Dando, who was murdered in 1999.

On 26th April this year it will be the 25th anniversary of her death. In her memory reporters as young as 9 have quizzed Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Downing Street in 2019 and have written hundreds of stories.

The newspaper has a wide variety of partners across education, business, charities, and the Media.

They include Britain’s biggest magazine for entrepreneurs and business leaders, Business Leader and The Priory Learning Trust.
