Students delight at new library and bookclub

High-achieving students are thriving in their new library and popular book club.
Worle Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset has re-launched a new library with an associated bookclub for the hundreds of new books.
The book club meets after school with games, quizzes and activities based on reading and books.
The school book club is one of dozens of exciting Period 6 clubs including in the Arts, Media, Music and Sport before and after the school day.

Principal Jacqui Scott said: “We are absolutely thrilled with our new library and the hundreds of new books.

The academy is part of The Priory Learning Trust which introduced its Reading Programme to further encourage a love for reading for its 4 to 18 year olds.
The popular academy has launched clubs including Ukulele Orchestra, Business Studies, Drama, Creative Writing, STEM, Jill Dando Journalism, Badminton, Art and dozens of others.
