There were smiles and happy faces as Little Learners moved into their incredible new premises at Castle Batch Primary School Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.

Happy children, parents, carers and staff enjoyed viewing their new state-of-the-art building at the start of the new school year.

The children played on the new equipment, enjoyed their outside play areas and discovered their new toys.

Little Learners provides an excellent education for children aged 2 – 4 years at Castle Batch, run by The Priory Learning Trust.

Little Learners Manager Sam Perry said: “There was joy and delight and the children were so happy to discover their new amazing building.

“There has been a brilliant buzz in the build-up to this and excitement at finally having a new building on an excellent school site.”

The Little Learners team includes Mandy Bishop, Carol Smith Mandy, and preschool practitioner Laura Harper.

Castle Batch Primary School Academy (CBPSA) is an impressive school site to base on. It has recently been given an impressive clean sweep of Good ratings with an overall Good judgement by Ofsted.

It impressed inspectors for its quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and its early years provision.

Inspectors also hailed the school’s caring, inclusive ethos quoting the ‘strong relationships between pupils and staff’, and noted that pupils ‘feel happy and safe in school’.

Amy Marsh, Early Years Strategic Lead said: “This is really good news. It is so good to have the preschool provision on our primary school site. It will be great to offer children aged 2 -4 the opportunity to learn, grow and develop in their new purpose built classrooms.”
