70 students from The King Alfred School an Academy went on a trip to see the musical Sister Act at Wales Millennium Centre.
All of the students (Year 7-13) at The King Alfred School Academy in Highbridge, Somerset are in the cast of the school production Sister Act which will be performed next year.
The show in Cardiff was phenomenal and the whole cast was brilliant. The cast included: legend Lesley Joseph, Hairspray favourite Lizzie Bea, and West End star Landi Oshinowo as Deloris, everyone’s favourite nun on the run!
Hazel said: “It is one of the best shows I have seen on stage!”
The performance was mesmerising and an inspiration to the students, showing that hard work and dedication really pays off. It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to see a professional cast perform the show before they do.
