Wonderful Ruby wowing Europe with gymnastic skills

Ruby Newlands, 11, of Priory Community School Academy has been travelling Europe over the past few months with her gymnastics group, Weston Aerobics.

The year 7 student has just competed in Southampton with a trio and came first place.

Ruby said “I love competing in gymnastics because I like the exercise and I enjoy winning medals.”
PCSA students are doing incredibly well in the world of gymnastics. They won a collection of gold and silver medals in the world gymnastics Championships in Liverpool in August.

Principal Angelos Markoutsas said: “We cheer on all our students in their chosen sports and pursuits. Ruby is doing amazingly well and has a bright future.”
