A record 900 praise certificates have been sent out to inspirational home learning students in just one week.
Worle Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset have used certificates to praise students for their amazing work during all three lockdowns.
Last week saw a record 900 certificates sent out after excellent work by students. More than 600 students have been sent one or more certificates since the start of this term.
One student Ana Dobrescu in Year 7, pictured, received four Learning Star of the Week certificates.
Principal Jacqui Scott said: “We are delighted with our students and their work during this lockdown. We believe it is essential to acknowledge all their brilliant effort. They are achieving excellent work across a wide range of subjects.”
The academy has a wonderful caring and high achieving ethos, excellent extracurricular provision including the Jill Dando News Centre and the groundbreaking eco-club.
