Pupils spend fun-packed time learning about Egyptians

Children at St Nicholas’ Chantry spent days learning all about the ancient people with visiting Egyptologist Ali Ball helping to bring it alive.

They read Egyptian hieroglyphics, played a form of bingo to learn about their number system and handled ancient artefacts.

The amazing St Nicholas’ Chantry is part of the Clevedon Learning Trust.

Head Teacher of St Nicholas’ Chantry Peter Treasure-Smith said: “Ali Ball was brilliant and the pupils really enjoyed the fun and seeing the Egyptians really brought alive.”
