Priory teacher reaches last eight of TV cooking challenge

Priory Community School teacher Sharon Boneham has been starring on the BBC Two programme Family Cooking Showdown along with her ex-PCSA daughter Emily, 18, and her 42 year-old brother, Marcus.

The inspirational design and technology teacher and her team reached the quarter finals.

In the Family Cooking Showdown, teams of three family members compete in two challenges a day, judged by Michelin star chef Tommy Banks and Angelica Bell.

Sharon said: “I have had a wonderful time on the show. I love teaching at Priory and am keen to share my passion for cookery with students across the school.

“It has been a massive challenge and fantastic experience.”
