Students at Priory Community School in Somerset, UK tested out a PeacePockets kit which it is said is the world’s ‘first truly portable mental health first aid kit’.

Our Good News Post reporter tested out the object grounding card.

The object grounding card is a card with ways you can use an object to calm yourself if needed.

It is a Compact mental health kit, and was designed to provide help for people when needed, wherever they are.

Each kit has tools inside it designed to help manage stress, anxiety or mental mindfulness.

Excitingly, no app is needed!

Elliott said: “The reason I like Peace Pockets is because it is portable and pocket-sized and easy to carry anywhere.

“It’s ready to use and there is no set up required, ‘just instant relief’ according to their website.“

According to Peace Pockets, 1 in 4 people in the uk experience mental health issues and 79% of working people in the uk have work induced stress.

Out of the thousands of people in the uk only 1/4 of the people who need help get it.

Co-founder Ryan said: "After the COVID-19 pandemic, I struggled with anxiety and panic attacks, especially during my commute back to work. Wellness apps helped, but they weren’t always enough—especially when I lost signal or ran out of battery.
I realized I needed something physical and reliable, a tool to provide
calm when technology couldn’t and thats how PeacePockets
was born".

Peace Pockets have a range of relief kits from ADHD align kits to Employee Zen kit.
