Great Britain have had an excellent Paralympics after having a tricky one in Tokyo.
They have won an astonishing 124 medals, coming second overall.
Team GB gained a total of 49 Gold Medals, 44 Silver and 31 bronze medals.
This is an amazing achievement for team GB, and they hope to surpass this in LA in 2028.
The Paralympics is a world-class event similar to the Olympics.
However, the Paralympics is for athletes with disabilities.
All disabilities are different, so all the athletes are placed into groups containing people with a similar disability to themselves (this measure ensures no athlete has an advantage or disadvantage over another athlete because of their disability).
Over 4000 athletes participated in the Paralympics from over 168 delegations in 549 medal events in an astonishing 22 sports.
The Paralympics was 11 days of hard work and dedication and the outcome of that was approximately 5084 medals now shining in some very proud athletes' homes.
The first Paralympic games were held in 1960,taking place in Rome, Italy, featuring a small 400 athletes (10 times less than the number in the most recent Paralympics) from 23 nations.
The Paralympics is a great opportunity for people from all over the world and all walks of life to come together, celebrate and embrace their differences.
