Over 1,000 Samaritans supporters begin 'Walkies For Wellbeing' challenge in Ireland & Northern Ireland

Dog walkers across Ireland & Northern Ireland are walking 100km this October to raise funds for Samaritans.

Samaritans' 'Walkies For Wellbeing' 2024 dog-walking challenge has kicked off with over 1,000 people taking part across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Supporters and their pooches are putting their best paws forward this October by walking 100km throughout the month to support Samaritans’ mission of fewer lives lost to suicide.



Regular exercise and quality time with pets have been shown to boost wellbeing – so, it's the perfect way to celebrate Mental Health Month in Ireland!
