The Smiley Charity Film Awards, celebrating its seventh year as the world's largest purpose-driven film campaign, will return to The Indigo O2 on March 20, 2025.
The event has garnered a record-breaking 520 entries this year.
Public voting is now open until January 31, 2025, with winners to be selected by a distinguished panel including representatives from the BFI National Archive, BBC, Meta, LinkedIn, HSBC, and Airbnb.
The star-studded ceremony typically attracts notable personalities, with last year's event featuring Professor Green, Jodie Kidd, Shirley Ballas, and other celebrities.
Since its inception, the awards have supported over 5,000 charities and reached nearly 1 million individuals through public voting.
The event welcomes organizations of all sizes, from household names like Alzheimer's Research UK and RSPCA to small start-up charities.
A recent YouGov poll highlights the impact of charitable films: 67% of UK adults are motivated to support charities they care about, while 62% of those who watched a charity film actively supported the cause afterward.
Among younger viewers, 51% of 18-24-year-olds are more likely to engage with charities after watching their films.
The free-to-enter awards are categorized by charity turnover, ranging from under £100,000 to £50 million-plus, with special categories for Corporate Cause and International Impact.
