By Sam, 13, Jill Dando News Correspondent
Some 70 young journalists visited the Houses of Parliament in London to celebrate the legacy of the late Jill Dando.
The Grand Pier, and Revo Restaurant which are on the seafront in Jill's hometown of Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset sponsored a special golden coffee and walnut cake, which was Jill's favourite flavour.
On the day, the cake was cut by the Speaker of the House, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, along with Jill's brother, Nigel Dando, and student representatives from The Priory Learning Trust.
At the end of the event, the journalists met the Pier's mascot, Dani the donkey, who surprised them by appearing on the gardens outside Parliament!
Dani ended the positive day with cheers when he gave out a stick of rock to all the students, staff and even onlookers!
