With 25 films and six incredible actors holding the helm, Ian Fleming’s 007 has been a silver screen staple for the last 50 years.

From Dr. No to Casino Royale, James Bond has been thrown into countless adventures with one solemn goal – to live. And hasn’t he succeeded?

No Time to Die marks the 25th film within the beloved franchise, directly following on from the ending of 2016 Spectre. Bond (played by the fantastic Daniel Craig) is enjoying a peaceful life in Jamaica with Madeline Swann (Lea Seydoux), away from the demands of active service. However, this peace is soon eradicated when he encounters an old CIA friend, Felix Leiter, asking for his help on a mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist, but the mission leads to a discovery far bigger than anyone could’ve ever imagined. The discovery of a villain (played by the incredibly talented Rami Malek) armed with technology that could potentially endanger the world.

Secrets, a spine-chilling theme tune, car chases, explosions – all of the classic Bond components underpin this cinematic masterpiece which is sure to satisfy the needs of all Bond superfans. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the movie brings the perfect blend of dynamics of action, thriller, adventure, light-hearted lines but hits with an emotional ending that none of us could ever see coming.

To any Bond fan, I say that this is a must-watch because the wait, to see what I believe is the best movie of 2021, was definitely worth it.
