Benjamin George has published his first fantasy fiction novel.

The 31 year old from Bristol has published AQUILA taking readers on an imaginative journey exploring their lives and destiny.

The author has lived an unconventional life of exploration and discovery that laid the groundwork for his fiction writing.

From stints as a chicken farmer and working with poverty projects in South Africa, to an internship in Alabama, USA, Benjamin’s experiences shaped his spiritual perspectives woven into AQUILA.

Benjamin’s book draws inspiration from acclaimed fantasy works like The Chronicles of Narnia written C S Lewis, one of the world’s best writers of modern times. It also has echoes of The Lord of the Rings.

The book follows the story of Klay, a young man living on the tropical planet of Arqensia whose peaceful life is upended after an encounter with a supernatural winged being.

This experience unravels his family's secret past and sends Klay on an adventure beyond the borders of his homeland, the Middle Lands.

To fulfil his newfound destiny, Klay must rely on friendships, his changing family dynamics, and the guidance of the elusive Aquila.

"AQUILA is a unique and accessible story that explores your destiny, and we all have one," said Benjamin.

"I wanted to craft a fantasy tale that resonates with readers of all ages grappling with life's bigger questions."

The book is aimed at young adults but has multi-generational appeal. The world George has created will thrill those who connected with the atmospheric storytelling of the Avatar film franchise.

AQUILA is the first installment of a planned trilogy by Benjamin.

The book is available now at www.benjamingeorgebooks.com.
