The Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare has just announced the launch of a brand-new, unique attraction this spring – Donkey Surfing!
This daring new activity is the perfect blend of nostalgia and extreme sports, offering customers an incredible new concept of riding the waves on the backs of highly trained donkeys.
“We’re beyond excited to introduce our latest attraction, Donkey Surfing!” said a spokesperson for The Grand Pier. “We’ve added a unique twist to the traditional seaside donkey rides, giving our guests the opportunity to ride the waves while our donkeys show off their surfing skills. It’s a fabulous experience for both our visitors and the donkeys!”
The Grand Pier's beloved mascot, Dani the Donkey, has played a key role in helping train the donkeys for their new wave riding positions.
According to the Pier’s spokesperson, Dani has become the donkeys’ surfing mentor, with the animals forming a special bond and appreciation for their trainer.
