Meet marvellous mascot Maya the 3 year old life-saving sheepadoodle

Meet Maya is helping save lives by becoming the new Defib Dog Mascot and and will be unveiled on Weston Rotary Dog Day.

Maya, a three-year-old sheepadoodle has a lovely temperament!

She'll will make her first appearance at the Beach Lawns during the Weston Rotary Dog on weston-super-Mare on May 11.

The day’s events are organised by the Rotary Weston-super-Mare, with more information to be revealed in due course.

The news of Maya's involvement has been well received.

On the same day that a Facebook Post was submitted, Maya has already been invited to 5 events, including Litter Picking from Sophie’s SUPER Litter Picking Weston-super-Mare, Dog Day organised by the Rotary Club, The Big Worle Hub Defib Launch on 30th March!

A spokesperson said: “If you have a defibrillator and would like Maya and the team to attend a special launch or celebration, let us know!”

Lucy & Jason Swan Mays owners, who are also relatives of Josh, Co-Leading Partner, and Liz, Volunteering Lead said “We are Maya's family and we massively support Josh and the team for this great cause. Keep up the great work you are all so appreciated for what you do.”
