Meet Inspirational Callum, 27, and His Story of Resilience

Callum Day is 27 years old and was born with a condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita.
This condition affects the muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints all over his body. He has also been recently diagnosed as Severely Sight Impaired which has made his life more difficult.
However, his challenges haven't stopped him from completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Rehabilitation.
He participated in Karate for 13 years where he achieved a black belt, and he has also participated in Table Tennis for 2 years.
Callum is currently working two days a week at an osteopath clinic.
Callum has challenges that he faces in day to day life, such as walking, climbing stairs, cleaning, dressing himself and doing any normal tasks at home and for the outdoors, his eyesight becomes a bit more of an issue as well as living with Arthrogryposis.
Regardless what challenges Callum faces in his day to day life, he is a determined young man whose hopes for the future are that he would like to be in a stable house, possibly in a relationship and also have a couple of children. He would also like to get a stable job.
Callum’s positivity to life is incredible as he says “no matter what life throws in your path there are always bends and turns that will enable you to achieve your dreams.”
