Meet Bonnie the popular school dog

Bonnie is a popular pooch, cheering up students and staff

Student Support at Clevedon School in Somerset use the specially trained dog to helps student with building social skills and self-esteem as well as a range of education and emotional needs.

She is just one of the hundreds of reasons that families love Clevedon School.

One Year 7 student said: “I like having her in when I am upset. She calms me down and takes my mind off it.” A Year 9 student said: “She is very friendly. It makes me feel happy and calm.”

Hannah Holloway of Student Support said: “Bonnie is so popular. She is a massive help and lifts the mood for students and staff!

Bonnie is an example of how dogs can cheer people up. Jeffrey the King Charles Spaniel dog is the mascot for the Good News Post and In Charley’s Memory, the mental health charity.
